About Playboy
In terms of sheer quality, for glamour, Playboy set the standards and are hard to beat
and are well known for their softcore erotic pictures. What is less well known is that
in the last 3 or 4 years Playboy have increased the explicitness of their photoshoots
while retaining the same high standards they've always had. Whereas a typical shoot
from the 90s may have only shown tit's and ass type stuff, now they are doing open
leg shots and far more explicit pictures then in the past. If you haven't looked at
Playboy for a while you should check out some of the more recent shoots (since about
2003) to see what's changed in their approach. If it was too soft for you in years gone
by you may find that has changed.
As regards Playboy's online ventures - all the sites listed above
offer different things and if you are thinking of joining you should
research them all to see which of them appeal best to you (tough work
I know... but someone has to do it!). For us one of the great things about the Playboy
Plus site was access to complete archives
of every Playmate ever! If you are a Playboy fan these are
invaluable as you can look up your favourite Playmate and
get immediate access to pictorials and even hunt around to
see what other Playmates were around at the same time. These
archives would be fabulous if they were merely static but
they are being updated all the time... Just recently photos
of Jean Moorehead, Miss October 1955 - were rescanned and
cleaned up and then added to the archive. Great stuff!
